Lorenzo Lupo

OOP figure painted in 2008

Lorenzo Lupo, Dogs of War General

Well, he's not the best general of all times, but I think the figure looks really great. Imagine, around renaissance or middle-ages style troops, a Roman general, always on foot, with a shield that reminds me of Perseus in the Clash of the Titans (the 1981 version, of course).

Cost : 300 points. Counts as a lord and hero choice (in V7)

Special Rules : He must be general of the army. At the beginning of the battle, roll 1d6, the result applies for the whole game: 1-2: +1 Toughness; 3-4: +1 Attack; 5-6: +1 Strength. When Lorenzo is in the fighting rank of any infantry regiment he adds +1 to the combat resolution for that unit. Lorenzo allows a unit of lancers or knights of the army to carry a magic standard up to 50pts.

Equipment : Heavy Armor, Shield of Myrmidia (6 + backup, all models in contact with enemy Lorenzo lose 1 attack), Sword of Lucan (every enemy model in base-to-base contact

with Lorenzo loses one Attack) and Ring of Luccina : Bound Spell, Power Level 3. When the ring is activated, all fleeing friendly troops within 12" of Lorenzo will rally automatically.
